I wanted to share a room at the State Capitol that I don’t think I had ever been in before. There are certain areas that you need to be escorted by a representative or assistant. So maybe I never have been in there. But the moment I stepped in…I was taken to another land.
I mean…seriously gorgeous!
Check out the ceiling. The inner 8-year-old-me wanted to grab a “Nancy Drew” book, blanket, and lay down on the floor so I could stare at this!
And those railings!!! I mean serious beauty. I have to say the way the books are “color coordinated” (yes I know that they are law books and in series) just sends me over-the-moon!
The spiral stairs are so elegant! Only the librarians are allowed on them.
